Am 27. Oktober 16- 17.30 Uhr werden via zoom afghanische Frauen der Diaspora und Mitglieder des europäischen Parlaments zusammenkommen und über die Situation in Afghanistan, sowie die Rolle der EU sprechen und diskutieren. u.a. Mit MdEP Cornelia Ernst.
Es wird eine Übersetzung Englisch-Dari und Dari-Englisch geben.

Widerstand in Panjshir
Als die Taliban den größten Teil des Panjshir-Tals eroberten, flohen die Anführer des Widerstands nach Tadschikistan. Derzeit finden keine Kämpfe vor Ort statt, und die Menschen haben sich entweder ergeben oder aus Angst vor Strafverfolgung ihre Häuser verlassen:
Situation für Frauen
Mädchen dürfen nicht länger in die Sekundarstufe. Darüber hinaus haben die Taliban vor angekündigt, dass Mädchen und Frauen auch von den Universitäten verbannt werden, da diese Einrichtungen noch nicht mit ihrer Version des Islam übereinstimmen:
Außergerichtliche Tötungen
Der bekannte Journalist Sayed Marouf Sadat wurde in der Stadt Jalalabad in Nangarhar erschossen:
Es gibt viele Berichte und Videos (vor allem auf twitter) von weiteren Tötungen.
Humanitäre Katastrophe
Schätzungsweise 18,4 Millionen Menschen sind auf humanitäre Hilfe angewiesen. Nach Angaben des Bevölkerungsfonds der Vereinten Nationen sind fast 80 % der Binnenflüchtlinge in Afghanistan Frauen und Kinder:

On 27 October 16- 17.30 via zoom Afghan women of the Diaspora and members of the European Parliament will meet and talk and discuss about the situation in Afghanistan, as well as the role of the EU. among others with MEP Cornelia Ernst.

Resistance in Panjshir
When the Taliban captured most of the Panjshir Valley, the leaders of the resistance fled to Tajikistan. Currently, there is no fighting on the ground, and people have either surrendered or left their homes for fear of prosecution:

Situation for women
Girls are no longer allowed to attend secondary school. In addition, the Taliban have pre-announced that girls and women will also be banned from universities, as these institutions do not yet conform to their version of Islam:
